Morillon is one of the most conveniently located resorts in the Alps, easily accessed in under an hour from Geneva airport. Morillon is an historic and pretty little village with all the amenities you need including a boulangerie, mini-supermarket, restaurants, bars, sports shops, church, medical centre and tourist office. The village is relatively unspoilt by tourism even though it has a cable car accessing the Grand Massif ski area in the winter, and a stunning blue water alpine lake which can be enjoyed in the summer.
The chalet is located just 1.5km before arriving in Morillon. The popular, bustling, picturesque market town of Samoens with plenty of places to eat, drink and relax is just 4km away from Morillon.
There are several supermarkets nearby, with Carrefour on the road to Samoens being the nearest. There is a Super U amongst many other shops in Taninges (7km away). The industrial town of Cluses has several out of town hypermarkets if required. Other nearby towns and villages include Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval, Let Gets and Morzine which present late skiing opportunities and world class hiking, mountain biking, climbing and rafting centres.
Chamonix Mont Blanc is under an hour away by car (55km).
